MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- OMG... it's National Emoji Day! July 17 is marked as the official day we celebrate those little smiley faces and objects that have become so popular for texting over the last several years.
Why July 17, you ask? Pop out your phone and find the little calendar emoji -- it's always on that date. That's because it's the day Apple released iCalendar back in 2002.
