Items Up For Bid At Herb Brooks, Team USA Auction

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – How would you like to get your hands on items from one of the greatest moments in sports history?

Mementos from Team USA's win over the Soviet Union in the 1980's Olympics, along with items that once belonged to Coach Herb Brooks are up on the auction block.

In all, close to 40 items of Brooks memorabilia will be auctioned off this weekend.

Brooks' family says the money will go towards college costs of his grandchildren and the Herb Brooks Foundation.

The live auction is Saturday night, but online bidding has already begun.
