Report: Des Moines Gay Bar Vandalized

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — A gay bar has been vandalized again in Des Moines' East Village district.

The Blazing Saddle co-owner Chris Bullen says a security recording shows a man tossing rocks and breaking a window a little after 4 a.m. Thursday. No injuries have been reported. The replacement window will cost a little under $200.

Bullen and another co-owner, Bob Eikleberry, say the same thing happened about three weeks ago, but the security camera didn't capture any images of the vandal or vandals. Des Moines police say no arrests have been made.

Bullen and Eikleberry aren't sure whether the massacre at a gay nightclub in Florida prompted the latest attack on their bar. The first broken window incident occurred weeks before the bloody rampage early Sunday at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando.
