35W crash in north metro causes big traffic back-up

Officials say a man was ejected from a car during a crash on the northbound side of Interstate 35W Thursday morning in the north Twin Cities metro.

The Minnesota State Patrol says four cars were traveling north when they collided in a rear-end chain reaction. One of the cars, a Chevrolet Camaro, rolled over and the 28-year-old driver was ejected.

He was taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Law enforcement say he was also arrested for suspicion of driving while impaired.

Two other people suffered minor injuries.
