In NCAA D3 Basketball Tournaments, 7 Minn. Teams

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Four women's teams and three men's teams from Minnesota have been picked for the NCAA Division III basketball tournaments.

MIAC men's champion St. Olaf will travel to Wisconsin-Stevens Point for a first-round game on Thursday against Central College. St. Thomas plays Augustana College on Thursday in another regional at Wisconsin-Whitewater, which faces UMAC champion Northwestern. The two winners there play on Saturday.

MIAC women's champion St. Thomas will host a four-team regional on Thursday and Saturday, facing Loras College in the first round. Concordia-Moorhead plays Wisconsin-Whitewater in the other game, and the winners meet in the second round. Also, St. Mary's plays on Thursday at regional host Wisconsin-Oshkosh, where UMAC champion Northwestern takes on Washington University. The two winners there meet on Saturday.
