Il Foro Closes In Downtown Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – It was the year of Italian in Minneapolis in 2015.

Beginning mid-summer, Minneapolis began to see a boom of Italian as Monello, Parella, Il Foro and Scena Tavern all opened before the end of the year.

However, Italy's day in the sun set as 2016 began.

After only being open six months, Parella closed its doors in January. Scena Tavern was soon to follow, also closing after six months earlier this month.

And now, Il Foro is done as well.

Il Foro released a message on their website saying simply, "Il Foro is now closed. Thank you for your patronage."

Now, only Monello remains.
