Iconic 'Purple Rain' Suit On Display Until Sunday At MN History Center

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Fans of Prince have just a few more days see the iconic purple suit he wore in "Purple Rain" at the Minnesota History Center.

Now through Sunday, the suit will be on display at the Gale Family Library at the center.

Minnesota History Center officials say the outfit is coming off display because of "conservation concerns about extended light exposure."

Visitors can visit at the following times: Friday (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.), Saturday (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.) and Sunday (noon to 5 p.m.).

The library is closed on Sundays, but the library lobby will be open for visitors to see the outfit.
