Hugo Business Total Loss After Fire

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities say a business north of the Twin Cities metro is a total loss after a fire early Sunday morning.

The Hugo Fire Department was called at about 12:13 a.m. to a structure fire at Paragon Paving on the 5800 block of 165th Street N. Firefighters responded to the scene with assistance from the Washington County Sheriff's Office.

Firefighters from agencies from Forest Lake, White Bear Lake, Lino Lakes and Centennial were also called to the scene. One firefighter suffered a minor injury while battling the blaze. There were no other injuries in the fire, but the business is a total loss.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Hugo Fire Department with assistance from the Washington County Sheriff's Office.
