Hockey Day Minnesota Coming To Minneapolis In 2020

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) --  Organizers announced Wednesday that Hockey Day Minnesota will make its way to Minneapolis in 2020.

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey took the podium in a news conference to welcome the 14th annual Hockey Day Minnesota to the city.

"We want people from across the country and the world to come to Minneapolis and witness what those of us who live here get to experience each and every winter," Frey said.

The weekend-long event takes place Jan. 16-18 at Parade Stadium.
