Hillary Clinton To Speak At Mpls. Teachers' Convention

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton will visit Minnesota Monday.

Clinton will give a speech during the American Federation of Teachers' biennial convention at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Clinton's speech is scheduled for 5 p.m.

Other speakers include Sen. Al Franken, Sen. Amy Klobuchar and AFT President Randi Weingarten.

Bernie Sanders, Clinton's only opposition in the Democratic race, recently endorsed her for the Democratic candidacy.

This week, presumptive Republican candidate Donald Trump selected Indiana Gov. Mike Pence as his vice president. The Republican National Convention begins in Cleveland on Monday.
