Highway 100 To Close Overnight Monday For Bridge Work

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- An overnight Highway closure in the Twin Cities could cause some headaches for drivers Monday night into Tuesday morning.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation said there will be an overnight closure of Highway 100 between Golden Valley and Edina. Crews will continue reconstructing the Cedar Lake Trail bridge over Highway 100 in St. Louis Park.

The detours will start at 9 p.m. Monday, and exit and entrance ramps will be back open by 5 a.m. Tuesday. The exit and entrance ramps will be closed on both directions of Highway 100 between Interstate 394 and Highway 62.

Officials say residents living in the area should expect to hear noise from the large equipment throughout the night.
