Hibbing Police: Man Posing As Cop To Lure Kids

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Police in Hibbing, Minn. are searching for a man who is posing as a police officer and trying to lure children to his car.

The suspect is described by witnesses as a white man between 20 and 30 years old. He is driving a Ford Crown Victoria with the word "Police" written on the left side.

Witnesses say the car did not have a cage in the back or a computer on the dashboard. according to Hibbing Police.

Witnesses say the suspect introduced himself as a police officer. He is missing the ring finger on his left hand, and has a tattoo on his left arm which appears to be a skull with snakes for hair and cursive writing.

He was seen wearing shorts and a black T-shirt with the word "Police" across the chest.

Hibbing Police say they are working diligently to find the suspect.
