Hennepin Co. Law Enforcement Agencies Conduct Warrant Sweep

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – More than a dozen law enforcement agencies in Hennepin County are conducting a warrant sweep Tuesday morning.

Hennepin County Sheriff Rich Stanek urges anyone with a warrant to turn themselves in.

Stanek said surrendering is far better than having authorities show up at a person's home or business and taking them to jail.

The focus of Tuesday's warrant sweep is offenders who are wanted on violent crimes and DWIs.
