Support Helping Paws With Wag, Walk, Run Event Saturday

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – This weekend, hundreds of people and dogs will head to Eden Prairie to take part in the annual Wag, Walk and Run to support Helping Paws.

Helping Paws is an organization that breeds, trains and places service dogs with people who have physical disabilities or veterans with PTSD.

Foster home trainers Kim and Ray Torell visited WCCO This Morning with service-dog in training Brodie.

They spoke about the event and how people can help.

Wag, Walk and Run takes place Saturday at the Purgatory Creek Rec Area.

The one-mile race for kids begins at 8:40 a.m. followed by the 5K at 9:30 a.m.
