Hebda Installed As Twin Cities Archbishop

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- There is officially a new leader of the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis.

An installation mass for Father Bernard Hebda was held Friday at the Cathedral of St. Paul. It was followed by an open house at Cretin-Derham Hall High School.

Pope Francis appointed Father Hebda to be the new archbishop in March.

He replaces John Nienstedt, who resigned after allegations of a sex abuse cover-up.
