'Hard Work Pays Off': Video Shows Jack Jablonski Controlling Hips

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Jack Jablonski is proving that "hard work pays off" after sharing an inspirational video.

The former Benilde-St. Margaret's hockey player -- affectionately known to many as "Jabs" -- suffered a spinal cord injury after being illegally checked from behind during a hockey game in 2011.

Since then, Jablonksi been through rehab and hopes to prove doctors wrong and walk again.

On Tuesday, he shared an Instagram video of his rehab, which shows him controlling his hips while on his elbows and knees.
