Community organizations like Habitat for Humanity teamed up for "Garage-a-Palooza." Volunteers fixed up and painted a dozen garages in the Frogtown neighborhood in St. Paul Saturday.

"But it's also not just about today -- it's about every single day. It's not just about this alley -- it's about every single alley, every single street. It's about building community, and being part of something bigger here."

They also cleaned up the alleyway, and added motion-detector lights in hopes of making the community safer.
