Study: Exercising With Others Ups Perceived Quality Of Life

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Are you a solitary exerciser? You might not be getting the full bang for your buck, or your time or your sweat.

New research shows there may be more benefits to working out in a group.

The study followed students who worked out in groups or by themselves.

Researchers found that people working out in groups were less stressed, and felt greater improvements in their emotional, mental and physical state.
