Sheriff: Woman Killed In Greenfield Lawnmower Accident
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Authorities say a woman died Sunday in a lawnmower accident west of the Twin Cities metro.
Several agencies responded at about 4:57 p.m. to the 9400 block of Scott St. in Greenfield on a report of a woman found dead by her neighbors. The Hennepin County Sheriff's Office, Corcoran police, Three Rivers Park police and the Hanover Fire Department all responded to the scene.
When authorities arrived, neighbors told them they went to check on the woman after not hearing from her for several days. When they searched the property, they found the woman under an overturned riding lawnmower.
How the accident happened is under investigation. The woman has not been identified.
