Grand Meadow's Gary Sloan Named MFCA Coach Of The Year

ST. LOUIS PARK, Minn. (AP) — Grand Meadow coach Gary Sloan is the Minnesota Football Coaches Association's 2015 Coach of the Year.

Sloan coached Grand Meadow to the 2015 Class 9-Man state championship last November at TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. The award was presented Saturday at the 52nd annual Football Hall of Fame banquet in St. Louis Park.

Sloan is the fifth Class 9-Man coach to win the MFCA Coach of the Year Award.

Grand Meadow picked up its third consecutive state title. The Superlarks were undefeated last year, going 14-0, and now have a 36-game winning streak.
