Gophers Get Campion Back From Concussion

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Minnesota offensive tackle Josh Campion has returned to practice, after missing the opener against TCU because of a concussion.

Coach Jerry Kill said Tuesday that Campion will share time at right tackle with Foster Bush. Jonah Pirsig will stay at left tackle, after taking over for the injured Ben Lauer in the 23-17 loss to TCU, which is ranked third in the latest Associated Press poll.

Campion had started 39 straight games for the Golden Gophers. Lauer started in Campion's place, but was taken out because of knee trouble. Lauer gave up the sack that caused Mitch Leidner to fumble at his 10-yard line, setting up a touchdown for TCU.

The Gophers play at Colorado State on Saturday.
