Gophers, Colorado State To Kickoff At 11 A.M. Sept. 24

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The University of Minnesota football team announced Monday that it will host Colorado State at 11 a.m. on Sept. 24.

The Gophers are 2-0 after beating Oregon State 30-23 two weeks ago, followed by Saturday's 58-28 win over Indiana State. Minnesota has a bye week this week, and Colorado State is the final non-conference game before the Gophers travel to Penn State to open Big Ten play.

The Sept. 24 game at TCF Bank Stadium will be broadcast on ESPNU. Last year, the Gophers beat the Rams in Colorado, 23-20, in overtime.

The Gophers will also have 11 a.m. kickoffs against Rutgers on Oct. 22, which is Homecoming, and at Illinois on Oct. 29.
