Gophers Fans Can See Little Brown Jug Wednesday, Thursday

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – There was plenty of excitement among fans last Saturday after the University of Minnesota football team beat Michigan 30-14 to reclaim the Little Brown Jug.

Gophers fans looking to see the Little Brown Jug for themselves and even take a picture with it can do so Wednesday and Thursday night. It will be on display from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at the T. Denny Sanford Athletics Hall of Fame at TCF Bank Stadium. Fans planning on going should park in the Maroon lot next to the football stadium, then access the hall of fame through the Benton County entrance to TCF Bank Stadium.

Saturday's victory was Minnesota's first over the Wolverines since 2005 and fourth since 1968. It was also Jerry Kill's first win over Michigan as Gophers head coach.

The Gophers improved to 4-1 on the season and have a bye this week before hosting Northwestern Oct. 11.
