Girls On The Run 5K
This weekend, there's an event that's putting fun back in running for 3rd to 8th grade girls across the Twin Cities.
The Girls on the Run 5K is this Saturday at Harriet Island in St. Paul.
The 5K celebrates the 10-week, 20-lesson Girls on the Run season at more than 70 schools across the Twin Cities.
And the group prepares the girls for much more than just that one race.
