Girl In Critical Condition After Being Hit By Truck

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 10-year-old girl is in critical condition after being hit by a truck Saturday in Rochester while riding her bike.

Rochester police say the girl was hit at the intersection of W. River Parkway and 37th Street Northwest. She tried to cross the street against the "don't walk" signal.

The truck that hit her was going about 40 mph, which is the speed limit in the area.

Emergency crews brought the girl to St. Mary's Hospital, where she is listed in critical but stable condition.
