Garth Brooks Adds More Minneapolis Shows, Now 10 Total

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Fans of Garth Brooks don't have much longer to wait, as tickets for his series of Minneapolis concerts go on sale Friday morning at 10 a.m.

Garth Brooks recently announced that Minneapolis would be the next stop on his World Tour with Trisha Yearwood.

Four shows at the Target Center in Minneapolis were initially announced for Nov. 14 and 15, with two shows each night -- one at 6:30 p.m. and another at 10:30 p.m. On Friday morning, a fifth show was added on Nov. 13 at 7:30 p.m. Within hours, Target Center said that Brooks was adding five more shows from Nov. 6 through Nov. 8, bringing the total to 10.

Brooks said that fans have been patient on the phone

"It looks like we've got demand to probably double what we've got so far," he said. "It's a blessing, and I can't thank you enough and anyone that wants a ticket now should be able to get one."

The shows mark Brooks' first time performing in the city in 16 years.
