Garden Week: CSA Program At Pahl's Market In Apple Valley

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- All this week, the WCCO Morning Show is getting into the spring spirit, which for many means getting into the garden.

People got a taste of spring over the weekend. A number of farmers markets opened for the season, including in Minneapolis.

The number of farmers markets in Minnesota has grown by 50 percent in the last five years. There are nearly 150 markets across the state.

And while they are a fantastic place to find fresh fruits and veggies, CSAs -- or Community-Supported Agriculture programs -- are also on the rise.

For Monday, Edward Moody visited the program they have set up at Pahl's Market in Apple Valley and talked with farmer Cole Moldenhauer. You can see more about their set-up in the video above.
