East I-94 Reopens After Garbage Truck Rollover

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The trailer of a garbage truck tipped over Monday afternoon, causing plenty of delays on Interstate 94 in Brooklyn Park.

Authorities say the truck dumped its load over the highway just before noon, blocking all four lanes of eastbound I-94, near the ramp to Highway 169.

At approximately 3:30 p.m., the scene was clear, with all four lanes of traffic reopened, plus the ramp.

Interstate 94 was down to a single lane, with drivers getting around the crash on the shoulder.
