Garbage Collector Finds Dead Body In Fridley

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A garbage collector working in Fridley, Minn. made a frightening discovery Monday morning.

According to authorities, the garbage collector was removing trash on the 900 block of Hillwind Road NE and stumbled across the body of a deceased woman in the garbage corral.

The Anoka County Dispatch Center received a 911 call around 10:32 a.m. Monday regarding the body found. The caller said the body was found on the ground, inside an area containing garbage dumpsters.

Police identified the woman as 36-year-old Lesean Morrisa Taylor from St. Paul, Minn.

Toxicology reports are still pending, but authorities say the cause of death appears to be exposure.

Officials say it appears to be an accidental death, but police are still investigating.
