Fugitive On Hennepin County Most Wanted List Captured

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Officials say a fugitive on the Hennepin County Most Wanted List was captured Monday following a tip from a resident in
Golden Valley.

The county sheriff's office says that the fugitive captured was 32-year-old Michael Ernst Jr., who was put on the list after failing to appear for a scheduled hearing.

A tip-caller led Golden Valley police to an area residence, where officers were able to arrest Ernst.

Ernst is accused of domestic assault by strangulation and making terroristic threats in July.
