From Poland To Minnesota, Vikings' Aiyegbusi Finds Home In A Foreign Sport

MANKATO, Minn. (WCCO) -- At 6 feet 9 inches tall and 345 pounds, the only thing at training camp bigger than him is his fame.

As only the 5th Polish player to ever sign an NFL contract, everyone's interested in Babatunde Aiyegbusi.

"When someone gives you the opportunity, you just grab it," Aiyegbusi said.

Growing up in Poland, Aiyegbusi didn't know about American football until he was 17. So he started his career in the German and Polish football leagues. Now at age 27, 10 years after picking up the sport, he's getting a shot at the NFL, and it's been as hard as he thought it would be.
