Former Twins Manager Tom Kelly Recovering From Stroke

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Former manager of the Minnesota Twins, Tom Kelly, suffered a stroke last week and is currently at home recovering.

Kelly told WCCO Radio he's OK now and there's no reason for concern.

"I'm doing a lot better than I was doing last Tuesday night and Wednesday morning," Kelly said.

He was watching television, after coming home from the game and said he felt lightheaded.

Then the next day, it got worse.

"Every time I would move, I would throw up, and after a couple of hours of that, we decided to get our asses to the hospital," he said.
