Flooding Closes Schools, Roads In Western Wis.

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (AP) — It's a soggy start to the fall season in parts of Wisconsin.

Heavy rain continues to fall in western Wisconsin where flooding has made some roads impassable. Neillsville, Granton, Greenwood and Loyal schools are among those closed Thursday with others delaying the start of classes.

The National Weather Service issued a flood warning for western Wisconsin counties. Emergency management officials advised against travel in Clark County where more than 60 roads are closed.
