Anglers Prep For The Minnesota Fishing Opener

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – In the state of 10,000 lakes, fishing is a big deal. Which means the Minnesota Fishing Opener is an even bigger deal.

Anglers are already getting prepared for the event and heading up to the lakes early.

WCCO's Kate Raddatz visited Blue Ribbon Bait in White Bear Lake to get her gear and learn about the latest regulations. But before you head out on the lake, make sure you're up to date with the DNR's latest rules and regulations too. Visit the DNR online to learn more.
