Loretto Car Dealership Damaged In Overnight Fire

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) –Nearly 100 firefighters were called to help quell flames at a Loretto car dealership late Tuesday night.

According to the Loretto fire chief, crews responded to a call around 11:15 p.m. of a fire at Laurent Motor Café. Flames had been spotted coming from a garage door.

After putting out the fire, officials said the flames appeared to have started inside the Highway 55 shop.

Twelve fire departments assisted with the fire. No one was inside at the time and no firefighters were hurt.

A cause is under investigation.
