Fire Engulfs Minneapolis Duplex

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO)  - Crews battled a big fire in Minneapolis Wednesday night.

It started about 8:30 p.m. at a duplex on the 1400 block of 6th Street Northeast.

The two-and-a half story building was engulfed in flames. Neighbors had to evacuate.

One firefighter went to the hospital with minor injuries.

Authorities say the fire is under control now, but they're still dousing hotspots.

It's unclear what sparked the flames.

The Red Cross helped five adults, two children and two dogs.
