St. Paul Home Damaged In Overnight Fire

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Six people are displaced after a fire damaged a home in St. Paul overnight.

According to authorities, around 12:30 a.m. the St. Paul Fire Department received a call of a house fire on the 500 block of Minnehaha Avenue East.

Upon arrival, crews saw flames coming from the back side of a three-story duplex. Further investigation showed the fire began on the back porch.

Crews were able to put the flames out; all of the residents were able to get out safely.

The porch sustained most of the damage, but there was smoke damage inside the unit.

No one was injured.
