Fire Damages Plymouth Home, No Injuries

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Authorities say there were no injuries but a Plymouth home sustained significant damage in a fire Monday afternoon.

Crews were called at about 3:30 p.m. to a home on 29th Avenue N. in Plymouth after somebody ice fishing on Medicine Lake spotted flames and called 911. When firefighters arrived, flames were coming out the windows. Fire crews were able to fight the blaze from the exterior.

Authorities say the homeowner was able to escape the home safely and nobody was hurt in the fire.

The cause is under investigation.
