Police Seek Woman In Federal Credit Union Robbery

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minneapolis police are asking for the public's help identifying a woman they say robbed the U.S. Federal Credit Union last month.

According to police, the robbery happened at the credit union on the 2500 block of 27th Avenue South after 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 23.

Police say a woman with blond hair and dressed in a black hooded sweatshirt and black leggings demanded money from a teller.

Authorities said the suspect never showed a gun, but one was implied.

She made off with an undisclosed amount of money.

Officers said the suspect is likely in her 20s and weighs approximately 130 to 140 pounds. Anyone with information should call 1-800-222-TIPS.
