FDA Warns 9 Brands Of Hand Sanitizer May Be Toxic

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has warned against the use of several brands of hand sanitizer that might be toxic.

The FDA says nine types of sanitizer may be toxic, all of which are manufactured in Mexico and potentially contain methanol -- which can cause serious health issues.

No major brands are on the list, but some like All-Clean Hand Sanitizer and The Good Gel Antibacterial Hand Sanitizer should be thrown out.
