FBI: 2 Men Rob Little Canada Bank In Halloween Masks

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Federal Bureau of Investigation is looking for two men who robbed a Little Canada bank Thursday morning while wearing Halloween masks.

The robbery happened at 7 a.m. at the U.S. Bank at 2850 Rice Street. The FBI says two men entered the bank as it was opening and forced two employees to unlock the vault.

"Don't be a hero, it's not your money," said one of the suspects to employees.

The robbers placed an undisclosed amount of money into a dark plastic trash bag and a black gym bag with white trim.

The suspects are described as black men who are both 6 feet tall. One has a muscular build and was wearing black pants, a black-hooded sweatshirt, black gloves and a red Halloween mask.

The other suspect has a medium build and was also wearing black pants and a black-hooded sweatshirt. He also wore black and white gloves and a skeleton-like Halloween mask.

U.S. Bank is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information on the bank robbers that could lead to arrests and convictions.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Minneapolis FBI at 763-569-8000, or call the Ramsey County Sheriff's Office.
