FBI: 2 Men Rob St. Paul Bank, Torch Getaway Truck

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A reward is being offered in connection with a Monday morning bank robbery in St. Paul.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation says the robbery happened at about 6:45 a.m. at the TCF Bank at 2163 Ford Parkway.

Two men forced their way into the building when two employees where opening for the day.

They gained access to the vault, stole an undisclosed amount of money and then locked the employees in a nearby room.

The FBI says they fled in a pickup truck, which St. Paul Police later found abandoned and burned near Ford Parkway and Mount Curve Boulevard.

Witnesses saw the men abandon the truck before getting into a dark SUV and driving east on Ford Parkway.

The suspects are described as black men who both stand about 6 feet tall and have medium builds. During the robbery, they wore black ski masks and black jackets.
