Victim In Fatal South Minneapolis Stabbing ID'd

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Officials have identified the man killed in a stabbing earlier this week in south Minneapolis.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office says 29-year-old Elias Benjamin Lopez-Lopez suffered fatal stab wounds late Wednesday night on the 3000 block of Clinton Avenue South.

Police officers found him wounded on the steps of an apartment building shortly after 11 p.m. He died hours later at Hennepin County Medical Center.

Authorities say 19-year-old Robinson Fabricio Palacios-Castro was arrested in connection to the stabbing.
