Police: Driver Cooperating After Fatal St. Paul Pedestrian Crash

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -– Police are investigating a fatal pedestrian crash that happened Thursday morning near the Cathedral of St. Paul.

Officers were called to the area John Ireland and Kellogg boulevards at about 6 a.m., where they found an unresponsive man in the intersection. Paramedics arrived soon after and pronounced the man dead.

The driver stopped at the scene and is cooperating. It is believed that drugs and alcohol were not a factor in this crash.

Police are still investigating.
