1 Dead In Frogtown Shooting

SAINT PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) – One man is dead following a shooting in St. Paul's Frogtown neighborhood Tuesday night.

According to St. Paul police, around 9:30 p.m. officers responded to a report of multiple gun shots being fired in the area of Edmund Avenue West and Grotto Street North.

Upon arrival, officers found a adult male suffering from gunshot wounds. Paramedics arrived and declared him dead on the scene.

The Medical Examiner has not released the man's identity or exact cause of death.

Two other people in the area were found injured around the time of the shooting. They were taken to Regions Hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Authorities have not yet interviewed them so they are unable to determine if they were injured in the same incident or a separate incident.

The incident is currently under investigation, as police interviewing witnesses who were at the scene.
