Fatal Crash On Highway 169 In Scott County

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A section of Highway 169 closed in the southwest metro Monday afternoon following a fatal crash.

The State Patrol says the crash happened just before 4 p.m. at the Delaware Avenue intersection, near Jordan.

The State Patrol says 27-year-old Howard Bartholoma was driving north, when he lost control and crashed into oncoming traffic. Bartholoma was killed.

Two other cars were involved. One of the drivers is okay, but the other, a 33-year-old from Mankato, suffered life threatening injuries and was hospitalized.

State troopers shut down the road for hours to investigate.
