Faribault Woolen Mills To Hold Huge Warehouse Sale

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- One of the state's most historic companies is about to offer some of its popular items at a huge discount.

Faribault Woolen Mill Company is continuing an annual tradition that started last year. This year's highly-anticipated tent sale is expected to be so big, it is moving to their warehouse.

It is a sure sign that the manufacturer of fine woolen blankets is making a strong turnaround.

The mill, originally started in the 1800s, closed for two years and reopened in 2011.

More than 9,000 items will be marked down by at least 50 percent.

The sale takes place from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25  and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26 at their historic mill in Faribault.
