Fargo Police Chief To Attend White House Briefing On Policing

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The head of the Fargo Police Department is expected to take part in a briefing at the White House on community policing.

Chief Dave Todd said he is very excited to attend.

"I think we're doing pretty well as a police department, but there's also areas we need to continue to work on," Todd said.

The President's Task Force on 21st century policing recommends police agencies engage all members of the community through social media.

Todd said this is a pivotal moment for law enforcement, and that now more than ever police need to be engaged and transparent.
