Family Sets Up Help Fund For Boy Saved From Pool

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The family of the second grader pulled from a pool last week needs help paying for his care.

Sher Kpor has been in the hospital since Memorial Day, after his older brother tried to save him from an abandoned swimming pool in St. Paul.

Police said the younger boy had gone in after a flip-flop, not realizing the dirty rainwater and runoff was so deep.

Paramedics saved both boys from the pool. It is currently being packed with dirt now, so no one else gets hurt.

If you can help Kpor's family, please click here to visit their YouCaring page.
