The article says nearly 3 out of 5 parents with game-playing children join in at least once a week. Parents say it's a great time for them to have conversations with their kids.

The article also explains that video gaming helps boost trust and empathy, "because videogames require players to quickly anticipate what their opponents or teammates are going to do next."
